Club AGM - April 1999

The 9th Saab Enthusiasts Club Annual General Meeting was held at Ridgemont Village Hall at 11am on 24 April 1999.

An assorted collection of Saabs brought a (probably equally assorted) collection of enthusiasts together for this annual general meeting.

Wally's two-stroke, John's 96V4 and Neil's 9000 Carlsson

Matters up for discussion included the usual Treasurer's Statement of Accounts, and the Membership Secretaries report.

Other matters that came under discussion included the development of The Saab Enthusiast as a magazine and onto the Internet, the status and development of the club shop and a debate regarding the association of the club with the UK. (The SEC was formerly known as British Saab Enthusiasts.)

The AGM proved for a friendly, lively and positive meeting amongst a team of people committed to ensuring the continued success of the SEC.

The next committee meeting is scheduled for the EMS Splash Out on Spares III weekend in Nottinghamshire on 7th and 8th May 1999.
